Deer Park Lodge, Dartington Estate

This unique and tranquil getaway is situated in a rural, woodland location with views of an enclosed Deer Park on the Dartington Estate. This property is a calming retreat, completely surrounded by nature. There is an outdoor studio, making it the perfect place to write, read or be creative. The space

Sleeps 4 (2 bedrooms).  Pets welcome. Downstairs is a large open plan living area with lots of natural light, a wood burning stove, modern kitchen, large farmhouse table and comfortable seating area. There is a double bedroom downstairs next to the main bathroom. Upstairs is the main bedroom, which has incredible views on 3 sides overlooking woodland and the Deer park. It has a double bed and large sofa which sits in front of an open fire. There is a toilet and sink on this floor.

Bay Horse Inn

Our traditional real-ale pub at the top of town is just a short stroll from Totnes' historic centre (where landlady Kathy conducts guided tours).  We have two welcoming double rooms and a holiday apartment available (with King Size bed).  Single and room-only rates are available as well as full B&B.  Our 'little pub with the big garden' offers an excellent selection of ales, lagers, wine and regional ciders, and customers are welcome to BYO food from the great takeaways on offer nearby.  Regular music nights include jazz, folk sessions, open-mics and local talent.  We open at 3.30pm Tuesday to Thursday, and 1.30pm Friday to Sunday.
