Christmas Wine and Cheese Tasting with Sharpham Dairy

Join us for an evening showcase of our wines paired with cheeses from our old friends at Sharpham Dairy. Tom (Sandridge Barton) and Greg (head cheese at Sharpham Dairy) will guide you through a fun and informative tasting covering the history, production processes and the pairings themselves. You will taste five different wines paired with five different cheeses, and all will come with crackers and chutneys. Our shop will be open throughout the evening selling the wines and cheeses showcased in the evening for those wishing to get stocked up for Christmas! After arrival at 18:00, the tasting will kick off at 18:30 and run until around 20:30. The bar will be open until 22:00 for those wishing to carry on enjoying their evening with another bottle of wine! Tickets are £35pp, this includes your wine and cheese tasting. Buckfast Abbey’s Christmas Market

The popular Christmas Market will be returning this year for three days, filled with an array of festive food, Christmas gift ideas, crafts and entertainment. Running from Thursday 30th November – Saturday 2nd December 10am-5pm except Friday which is 10am - 9pm, the Christmas Market will offer a fabulous mix of independent stalls ranging from crafts to local artisan food and drink producers, as well as all sorts of entertainment. Dartington Great Hall Craft Fair

The inaugural 2022 Great Hall Craft Fair attracted over 6,000 visitors. This year we will be increasing the number of stands and offering different pricing options as we expand into the rooms surrounding our beautiful medieval courtyard. Will be showcasing high quality contemporary craft and design including ceramics, printmaking, jewellery, textiles and more. Music, choirs, workshops, food and merriment will run throughout the weekend.
